The Three T’s

Years ago at The Warner Theatre Board of Directors meeting, Muff Maskovsky, Chairman of the Board, referred to the Three T’s that are critical in the operation of any organization…Time, Talent and Treasure.

It parallels the Chamber’s mission of promoting economic growth while enhancing the quality of life in NW CT. We would not be in this positive position if it were not for the time, talent and treasure of so many.  Read on for some examples.

Time: I don’t know if I can even begin to tally the hours of volunteer effort from our committees. Together with the Staff, they plan and execute some amazing programs and serve in leadership roles. We are so grateful to the following:

Leads Groups

            Government Relations

            Membership Services

            Ambassadors

Health Care Council

            Manufacturer’s Coalition

            WOW!

            Board of Directors

            Leadership NWAdvisory

            Small Business Council

            Chamber Insurance Trust

Talent: The speakers and volunteers who respond to our requests for presentations and seminars in addition to generous resources continue to amaze me.

I wonder if you are aware that through the collective talent of many people, Chamber initiatives are realized:

SCORE – Service Corps of Retired Executives – counseling support

Chamber Insurance Trust -Health Care Benefit Solutions

Students to Career – Business / Education Partnership

Board of Directors – business leaders supporting our progress

Regional Workforce Investment Board – jobs, jobs, job

WOW! October 6, 2023, keynote and seminar speakers

Board of Regents for the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities

Treasure: We value the contributions of all who work in collaboration with us to fulfill our mission. More information on the Three T’s can be found on our website or by calling us at the Chamber. Our members and staff possess the time, talent and treasure to affect the quality of life in NW CT. We are fortunate, while we address the challenges, to work and live in the beautiful Litchfield Hills.
